Whether you are attempting to hit your first forehand, play your first game or prepare for a tournament the Tennis Academy of Virginia has the ideal class for you.  We offer private, semi-private and group lessons for children and adults alike.  Each program features structured lessons with small student to teacher ratios. The Academy has a systematic progression of outcome-based lessons, which have been designed to help all players develop exceptional tennis skills.

In addition to our private and group lessons, clinics and workouts, TAV also offers leagues and tournaments for adult and junior players. All instruction is conducted by an outstanding staff of tennis instructors. Our Head Tennis Pro and President of TAV is a certified member of the Professional Tennis Registry, and is fully insured. All instructors subscribe to the Tennis Academy's goal of training in a positive atmosphere with a structured plan for success. And we make sure that all students have fun while learning the game of tennis.

The Tennis Academy of Virginia offers classes at various locations throughout the Richmond area. We are currently running programs at James River High School, Deep Run High School, Powhatan High School, and Virginia Commonwealth University.  We also have programs through The Public School's in Powhatan County and the Powhatan, Midlothian, and Goochland YMCAs. In addition we offer programs through several child development centers in the area. With our mobile equipment we bring the tennis academy to you!

The Tennis Academy of Virginia is bringing Florida style academy training to Virginia with our Intensive Training Academy and our Private Personalized Coaching Program.
